As I think about Paul he had a picture for the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ...he had something that allowed for him to go the distance, preach Christ unashamedly, and articulate revelation about Him in a profound way.
He understood life was about Jesus, not about self. It was about the glory of Christ, not the glory of man. It was about the kingdom to come, not the world we live in today.
I ask myself tonight what is that has caused me to to want to live for Christ the way I do and desire others to do the same? What revelation have I received of the Man that causes me to hunger and thirst for more?
- He has saved me for sin, self, death, and the devil
- He has delivered me for stuff I could not have got delivered from w/out Him
- He has chosen me, called me friend, loves me, is for me, and work all thing for good
- He has given me eternal life, forever with Him
- He has brought life - righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit
- He has given me family
These are some, Father reveal Christ to me in greater and more profound ways that I may proclaim the man with such revelation and understanding.
